TV actor Shweta Tiwari gave birth to her son in Mumbai on Sunday. Her husband, actor Abhinav Kohli, said both mother and child are doing well and will return home on Saturday.

TV actors Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav Kohli have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy. Shweta, who married actor Abhinav Kohli in 2013 after dating him for almost three years, gave birth to their son on November 27 at the Surya Child Care Hospital in Mumbai.

�We are very happy. Thank you all for the best wishes. It is a boy. He was born on November 27. The baby is healthy. We will take Shweta and the newborn home on Saturday. We haven�t decided the name yet,� said Abhinav Kohli to indianexpress.com

�Baby boy is doing fine and healthy, the process was smooth,� Shobha Sharma, a paediatrician at the hospital, said in a statement. This is the couple�s first child together. The Begusarai actress married Abhinav Kohli a few years back.

Shweta Tiwari, best known for her stint in shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur, Bigg Boss season 4 and Begusarai, was previously married to actor Raja Chaudhary, with whom she has daughter Palak.

Earlier Shweta Tiwari had her baby shower in the presence of her family and close friends from the TV industry. Shweta kept her fans updated about her pregnancy by posting pictures on social media.
